Yes, we deal with mortgages and insurance. Yes, we know the lenders, the criteria, the numbers and all those financial abbreviations that can give you a headache.
But SBS was never meant to be just a place you come to for a mortgage.
We wanted to create a company you could call and simply have a proper conversation with. Without feeling you need to speak the language of banks. Without worrying that your question is âsillyâ. Without being passed from department to department and wondering what is actually happening with your case.
That is why we stay with our clients step by step. Sometimes from the very first question: âCan I even buy a home in the UK?â, through picking up those first keys, right through to the next remortgage, investment or protecting the family.
Over the years, we have helped more than 5,000 clients. Today, we work from Southampton, Bournemouth, London and Edinburgh, but SBS still feels like a company where people know their clients by name.
And we really want it to stay that way.

Our story
Team SBSTogether towards our goal
From property to mortgages,
but the game is still on.
When Adam and Olena founded Step by Step Financial Solutions, the idea was simple: help people make better financial decisions and guide them through a process that often seems far more complicated than it should be.
Over time, SBS grew. More advisers, administrators and specialists joined us. More offices opened, bringing thousands of clients and thousands of stories.
But something else happened â something you cannot plan in a business plan.
We became part of the community.
Today, we meet our clients not just during consultations. We see them at Polish community events, WOÅP Grand Final fundraisers, sporting and charity events, in schools and simply out on the street.
We do not do this just so another logo can appear on our website.
We do it because we are part of this community ourselves.
We live here. We work here. We raise our families here. And the people we meet at these events are very often the same people we later help buy their first home.
And that is probably what we are most proud of.
